Contest: Rename Me!
Every good blogger knows when it is time to ask for help. I’m waving my little bitty white flag. I need to rename and rework this blog a bit. I need to broaden my horizons in terms of what I’m reading, but also what I’m writing about. I want to talk about books and kindles, but also games and girls and other geeky like things.
So with that I’m going to redesign and rename. However… creativity is not my strong point. I’m a math nerd! No judging, I’m asking for help. Suggest a new domain name for me if I choose yours you win a signed copy of the first book in Vicki Pettersson’s Signs of the Zodiac Series. Along with that, I’ll offer up a free blog template design (See Mama Kitty Reviews as an example). Graphic Design work would be extra.

It needs to be catchy, available, and fun. I’d love to have Vixen in it somehow but not required. It can not use the word kindle. Just to give you a start, things I’m going to write about:
So…. give me what you got? I do have something tickling my mind thanks to a twitter friend (VixenViews) but I’m indecisive like #woah. So, comment….. go!
Cool new author and contest – Jeannie Holmes
Over in my left sidebar you may notice an interesting graphic of some peeps with weapons. That is there to represent my love of Vicki Pettersson and the “peeps” on her forum. They are a really awesome group of people who share my love of books and my pervy sense of humor, not to mention the tendency to “pre-lick” book characters in an effort to claim them first. Among my VPeeps is one Jeannie Holmes who just happens to be releasing her very first novel, Blood Law, through Dell Publishing this summer.
To celebrate she is giving away signed copies of Blood Law cover flats! You can see the many ways to enter here. Haven’t heard of Blood Law? Well take a look below and I hope you will add it to your “to read” pile!

A provocative and savvy vampire, Alexandra Sabian moves to the sleepy hamlet of Jefferson, Mississippi—population 6,000, nearly one-half vampires—to escape the demons lurking in her past. As an Enforcer for the Federal Bureau of Preternatural Investigation (FBPI), Alex must maintain the uneasy peace between her kind and humans, including Jefferson’s bigoted sheriff, who’d be happy to see all vampires banished from town. Then really dead vamps start turning up—beheaded, crucified, and defanged—killed in the same gruesome manner that Alex’s father was murdered decades ago. For Alex, the professional has become way too personal.
Things get even more complicated when the FBPI sends in some unnervingly sexy backup: Alex’s one-time mentor, lover, and fiancé, Varik Baudelaire. Still stinging from the betrayal that ended their short-lived engagement, Alex is determined not to give in to the temptation that soon threatens to short-circuit her investigation.Like it or not, though, as the body count grows, and the public panic level rises, Varik may be her only hope to stop a relentless killer who’s got his own score to settle, and his own bloody past to put right.
